Volunteers Needed:
For several years the Omaha Works Retiree Group has relied
on volunteers to call retirees by telephone before each quarterly meeting,
reminding them of the date and time. We are in need of more volunteers to
replace those who cannot continue to do this task. The work is easy, from
home. We can make this even easier for you by sending you a list via email
rather then you attending a callers meeting at the Old Country Buffet on 144
& Center. About half of the calls you make will be to answering machines,
which makes it a lot quicker. Please consider volunteering for this helpful
task. Send your name and telephone number via email to us and we will
provide you with a list by April 9th, a week before the Second Quarterly
Meeting at the Millard Legion Post. If you prefer to attend the Callers
Committee meeting at the Old Country Buffet on 144 & Center, it will be
April 8 at 1:15 p.m. Thank you.
